After having spent the initial third of his career in Drilling and Wells operations, he has fulfilled a number of different management positions. This has included the position of Director of Angola Block 17; one of the major deepwater assets of the industry. For the last five years, he was the Senior Vice President for Development and Support to Operations and a member of TotalEnergies E&P Board of Directors. Over the same period, he was also President of TotalEnergies Well Response. Since the beginning of 2020, he has been Special Advisor to the President E&P.

Angela holds a degree in Occupational Safety & Health from Columbia Southern University. She's an industry expert with Technical Certifications in Business Continuity and Resilience from institutions like Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. Previously, she founded MiraTrac, Inc., a software and consulting company specialising in Crisis Management and Business Continuity, serving clients internationally.

Her role involves ensuring that all business units maintain the capabilities, tools, and processes needed to respond effectively to various threats, such as spills/releases, cyber incidents, and security events. Tracy brings her extensive experience, strategic risk management thinking, and boundless energy to the OSRL Board. Her journey has included various roles within ExxonMobil, active industry involvement, leadership training, and mechanical engineering qualifications.

Demetrius's background includes 16 years in the oil and gas industry, managing diverse personnel and executing deepwater well delivery operations. He also has a history of success in roles such as Wells Operations Team Lead, Business Advisor to the President of Shell Oil Company, Senior Wells Engineer & Conceptual Design Manager, and Sr. Completion & Well Intervention Engineer. Demetrius possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, certifications in Wells Distance Learning, and expertise in HSSE Critical Leadership and Deep Water Wells Technical Assurance Authority.

Until 1st July this year, Graham was SVP of Projects and Engineering Capability at Shell, completing an international career that took him to the deserts of Oman, frozen seas off Sakhalin, and the tropical heat of Nigeria, Malaysia, and Brunei. Graham has spent the last ten years in headquarters roles, initially as Vice President of Conventional Oil & Gas Projects, responsible for Shell’s Upstream projects outside the Americas, and thereafter in his final role leading the company’s global engineering and projects functions, supporting oil, gas, downstream and renewables projects and operations worldwide, as well as the development of the company’s 8000 projects and engineering staff.
He has served on the IOGP Engineering Leadership Council since 2018, completing a 4-year term as Chair in July, and has been a member of the IOGP Board since 2019. Graham is currently the CEO of IOGP.

Ismaeel holds a degree in marine engineering, post graduate degree in environment, health & safety, and a Doctorate in business administration. He is Process Safety Manager for BAPCO, leading a team to support the principles of Operational Risk Management and Control working to enhance the organisation-wide use, and effectiveness, of Operational Risk Control Systems. Ismaeel is currently seconded to International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP), London Office overseeing multiple functions including health committee, safety committee, process safety, occupational hygiene, diving operation, aviation safety, human performance, and safety data subcommittees.

Mahmood received his BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic of Wales in 1986 and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Bahrain in 2006. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the Maintenance and Reliability fields and his professional experience includes working in the Power Generation industry for 8 years and Oil and Gas around 23 years. Mahmood has held various posts within the NOGA Holding including lead of the NOGA Holding Oil Spill Response Team where he played a major role in finalising the Company’s contingency plan.

Jim O’Leary joined BP in 1992 and has worked in the UK, Alaska, Gulf of Mexico, North America Gas and North Africa in a number of drilling and completion roles, both in the office and the field. Jim led the implementation of the improvement recommendations associated with the Deepwater Horizon incident across BP’s global operations. Jim became Vice President of Wells Egypt in 2012, and in 2015, was appointed as Vice President of Wells Africa, accountable for BP’s well activities across the continent. In 2018, Jim was appointed as Vice President of Africa & Middle East, accountable for BP’s well activities and in November 2020, was appointed as Vice President of Wells AGT.
Jim was appointed into his current role as VP of Wells Integration in April 2024, based in Sunbury, UK.

Francesco serves as Eni UK Finance Director, overseeing Planning, Economic Evaluation, Investment Monitoring, Budgeting, Cost Control, Reporting, Performance Measurement, Accounting, Treasury, JV Accounting, Auditing, Taxes, Systems, and Procedures for all UK E&P Business Companies. He also holds significant positions as a board member of four UK companies and as the Managing Director of Eni Ireland BV, Eni Denmark BV, and Eni Mozambique Engineering Ltd.

Kitchai's expertise spans green and brownfield development management, onshore and offshore operations leadership, organisational capability management, development planning coordination, corporate strategy, and decision analysis.
Since August 2017, he has been with PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited, where he held various roles, including Senior Vice President for Thai Offshore Asset, Head of Corporate Strategy Division, and Project Head of G1/G2 Asset Transition Project—the first PSC in Thailand. Before this, from 2005 to 2017, Kitchai worked at Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production Ltd and Asia South Business Unit, holding several leadership positions in Asset Management, including General Manager of Reservoir Management, Organisational Capability, and Technical Management.

With BP, Vania rose to Vice President of Operations for Mauritania and Senegal, leading diverse teams across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. She was key in responding to the Deepwater Horizon incident and managing crises in other regions. In 2023, she became CEO of Oil Spill Response Limited. Vania holds a Master's in Process Engineering from the University of Padua and a PhD in Thermophysics from Ecole Nationale Superieure de Mines de Paris.

After graduating from the University of Southampton with a Bachelor in Law, Richard spent 10 years at PwC working with a portfolio of regional and international businesses and qualifying as a chartered accountant with the ICAEW.
Richard joined OSRL in 2015 and was appointed to the Board as Finance Director in June 2019. Richard has responsibility for the financial planning and control, legal, tax, procurement and quality management functions at OSRL.

Andy has 25+ years of oil and gas experience, primarily focused on subsea capital projects for field developments. He worked for various companies, including ConocoPhillips, handling projects like Jasmine HP/HT, Enochdhu, and Britannia Satellites. In 2018, he joined OSRL's Subsea Well Intervention Service (SWIS) as Engineering Manager, ensuring response readiness. In 2019, Andy became SWIS Director, overseeing OSRL's subsea business. Since July 2023, he has held the position of Response Director, with global operational responsibility at OSRL.

Emily has a BSc in Marine Environmental Science and 20 years of emergency management and spill response experience. Starting at Oil Spill Response Ltd, she joined the Response team, handling oil spills worldwide. Emily progressed to Duty and Incident Manager roles, demonstrating strong leadership during critical situations. Moving to the Preparedness team, Emily provided training, consultancy, and exercises to members. Her global perspective expanded during two years with the Singapore team.
As Preparedness Director, Emily oversees Equipment Hire, Training, Consultancy, Geomatics, and Secondment services, ensuring comprehensive preparedness for crises. Emily's leadership fosters a positive mindset, driving her team to seek effective solutions and approaches.

Mike has over three decades of HR leadership experience in the oil and gas industry, starting with ExxonMobil and then moving to BHP Billiton Petroleum and Hess. He also spent five years as an HR Director for the offshore drilling company, Seadrill, where he gained an excellent knowledge of drilling operations. He has worked across various geographies and specialised in building HR teams in Iraq, Pakistan, Ghana, Angola, Nigeria, and Algeria.
Commercially focused, Mike has proven successful in delivering HR initiatives across various activities and cultures. He is a strong advocate of talent development, learning, employee engagement, and equality, all founded on robust HR processes and systems. He has a strong HSE background and has responded to several real-life emergency situations across the globe. He has also been involved in investigations and operational audits. Mike is a graduate of the University of Durham, a Fellow of the CIPD, and a chartered Manager of Cmi.

Darren has spent more than 10 years in various capacities in Spill Response, Training & Consultancy and Business Development. He has been involved in the oil spill response industry for the last 14 years and has gained considerable experience from responding to oil spill incidents worldwide.
Darren holds a background in engineering and has previously managed the OSRL Training Function and Business Development Teams and more recently Director for the Asia Pacific Region. As of July 2023, Darren holds the role of Engagement Director, responsible for engagement activities across all OSRL stakeholders, from our Members to industry partners.
