Global Response Intergration Manager

Mario joined OSRL as the Subsea Manager APAC Region in 2020. Mario has a background in crisis and emergency management developed in both the emergency services and oil and gas sector. Mario's career spanned over 16 years with Western Australia’s Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) as a Firefighter and Officer  managing emergency incidents. Mario also supported the development of the Urban Search and Rescue(USAR) capability for Western Australia and managed the development of the enhanced rescue capability for DFES Fire and Rescue  . For over ten years Mario worked in the oil and gas industry, responsible for strategic leadership of crisis and incident management, business continuity, emergency response, and oil spill response arrangements for Australian onshore and offshore assets with ConocoPhillips. 

As the Manager for Subsea Well Intervention Services (SWIS) for APAC Region, Mario is leveraging his existing crisis and emergency management skills to further develop OSRL’ s subsea capability and support for members in source control planning and exercises. Mario is also working with members in Australia to enhance their crisis and incident management capabilities through training and exercises.
