Shane Jacobs

Global Aviation Manager

Shane is the Global Aviation Manager with over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.  

Since joining OSRL, Shane has had experience in a range of disciplines, including contract & project management, exercise & training delivery, and spill response. Shane has supported our members in over 20 countries, and has fulfilled the role of Duty Manager, responsible for the safe mobilisation of our people and response equipment to multiple locations around the world.  

In Shane’s current role, he is responsible for OSRL’s aviation services which include the Service Level Agreement wide-area dispersant aircraft, supplementary aerial surveillance aircraft services, satellite imagery, and our interests in Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems.  

Shane regularly attends and speaks at conferences & seminars and has co-authored industry good practice guides.
