As we continue our commitment to enhancing global preparedness and response capabilities in the oil and gas industry, we are excited to introduce our new Chair, André Goffart, along with four members joining our Board of Directors.
André Goffart, our newly appointed Chair, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to OSRL. André has held the position of Director on the OSRL Board since 2020 and has dedicated 38 years to TotalEnergies E&P Branch. His illustrious career includes 20 years of international postings, beginning in Drilling and Wells operations and culminating in various management roles. André has held prestigious positions, including Director of Angola Block 17 and Senior Vice President for Development and Support to Operations. He has also served as President of TotalEnergies Well Response and Special Advisor to the President E&P.
In addition to our new Chair, OSRL is proud to welcome four members to our Board of Directors:
Tracy DePadova: A proven leader with over 31 years of experience in the oil and gas and petrochemical industry. Tracy currently serves as the Global Emergency Preparedness & Response Manager at Exxon Mobil Corporation and has a strong track record in risk management and strategic thinking.
Zoë Beverley: A seasoned professional with nearly 20 years’ experience in oil spill management and an extensive background in incident and crisis management, and strategic planning.
Demetrius Harrell: A high-performing leader with 22 years of experience delivering operational excellence for multifaceted technical projects in high-risk environments
Graham Henley: Graham, formerly SVP at Shell, has an extensive international career spanning Oman, Sakhalin, Nigeria, Malaysia, and Brunei. His ten years in headquarters roles, overseeing global engineering and projects, have contributed to his leadership at IOGP, where he served as Chair of the Engineering Leadership Council and is now the CEO.
These individuals bring diverse backgrounds and extensive knowledge to our organisation, ensuring OSRL continues to thrive in its mission.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our retiring directors, Astrid Sorensen (Director and Chair), Iman Hill, and John Cook. Their dedication, leadership, and contributions to OSRL have been invaluable throughout their tenures. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours and thank them for their outstanding service to our organization.
