Pre-deployment Activity

If the OIE is required, OSRL will ensure that the system is configured in the required format for the desired transportation method.

The equipment will be:

  • Assembled for transport by sea, or
  • Dismantled for transport by road/air.

Offset Installation Equipment

For the transportation, there are two different configurations:

By Sea

  • Mobilise Saipem personnel
  • Configure the OIE for member
  • Run of test equipment, actuation of carrier hydraulic components, replacement of critical seals, full function test, grease replacement
  • Prepare all equipment for mobilisation
  • Transport equipment to the quayside

By Air

  • Mobilise Saipem personnel
  • OIE disassembled and secured to transportation pallets/skids
  • Equipment transported to airport
  • Equipment received at cargo handlers at departure airport
