Taking you beyond the basics of source control, this course will prepare you for the role of Mission Team Leader within the capping operations of a source control response.
Completion of the Source Control Introduction: Fundamentals course is required as a prerequisite for this course.
This course is ideal for those required to play a designated key role in a source control organisation, such as Incident Management Team (IMT) leadership positions within the Source Control Capping Team.
This course will expand on the fundamentals of Source Control Introduction, allowing you to identify the goals and objectives of your assigned mission. You will be able to summarise the key offshore activities of the mission whilst fulfilling the roles and responsibilities of the Mission Team Leader role, facilitating the mission planning process.
Throughout the course modules, you will gain knowledge and understanding within the following areas:
- Mission Execution - outlining the field activities which you may have to execute at the incident location before or during a response.
- Mission leader Role - gain familiarisation with your role and responsibilities as a team leader.
- Mission resources - helping you to identify key resources, information, analysis which may be required for the team to generate and support an executable mission plan.
