ATSEA-2 and OSRL Technical Webinar Series
Webinar #4 – Oiled Wildlife Response (OWR) / Oil Spill Risk Assessment (OSRA) / Indonesia Case Study
This is the fourth and last webinar scheduled for this year as part of the collaboration between ATSEA-2 Regional Project Management Unit (RPMU) and OSRL. The topics of this webinar are:
- Oiled Wildlife Response (OWR);
- Oil Spill Risk Assessment (OSRA); and
- Indonesia Case Study.
This webinar completes the response strategies through the introduction of Oiled Wildlife Response (OWR) and closes the loop of oil spill preparedness through the topic of Oil Spill Risk Assessment (OSRA).
Furthermore, it is the pleasure of the organizers to have Mr. Mr. Ondy Christian Siagian, the Head of Agency of Environment and Forestry (AEF), East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia to deliver a case study on oil spill preparedness and response in Indonesia.
At the end of this 2.5 hours webinar, the participants should be able to:
- Understand wildlife response strategies;
- Have awareness of planning for wildlife response; and
- Understand the overall process and steps of Oil Spill Risk Assessment.
Expert from OSRL will provide experience on OWR AND OSRA.

ATSEA-2 is the second phase of the Arafura and Timor Seas Ecosystem Action (ATSEA) Programme that aims to ensure that coastal and marine resources are protected from pollution, degradation and overfishing, among other marine issues.
