The time has arrived! Our team have finalised their various presentations and are looking forward to a busy week at this year’s oil and gas conference in Europe.
The current low oil price gives us a challenging environment in which to offer new and innovative services to our industry membership, however with “challenge” comes “opportunity”! We believe our new Subsea Well Intervention preparedness service offers our subsea customers a great opportunity to align their subsea emergency response plans with their spill training and exercise programmes for a holistic approach to subsea incident preparedness.
A lot has also been happening in the oil spill modelling world of late. We have recently enhanced our response based modelling service to provide our members with ever more accurate and timely predictions, presented in a concise report, to assist decision makers during a response.
For more information come and see us at our Offshore Europe Stand 5C04 this week, where our technical experts will be more than happy to update you on the latest challenges and opportunities that we face together.

“OSRL is delighted to be showcasing our services at Offshore Europe. The theme of the conference is “how to inspire the next generation” and that has a strong resonance with OSRL. We have a relatively young workforce and, thankfully, major oil spills do not happen every day, so we recognise the challenge of motivating and inspiring ambitious responders, particularly during the weak economic climate for the oil industry that we are currently experiencing.
Offshore Europe gives us a great platform to demonstrate the talents of our great people and the wide range of oil spill preparedness services that collectively we can offer when we are not responding to spills. We hope that you too will be inspired by our current generation of spill response specialists and technical experts that are looking forward to meeting you at the OE15 conference and exhibition in Aberdeen. We will be ready and waiting to discuss your oil spill response and preparedness questions and concerns so please head over to booth 5C04 where we will be waiting to meet you.”
