When demand for oil recovers, the producing nations now planning for that recovery will be ahead of the game. Mexico is among them, with preparations underway for the Gulf of Mexico deep water block auction, scheduled for December this year. This will be part of the nation’s first external licensing tender. With that in mind, IOGP (International Association of Oil & Gas Producers) has chosen Mexico City for the first in what will be a series of Regional Forums around the world. IOGP's partner will be Mexico’s newly-founded national oil and gas industry association, Amexhi.
Aimed at producers, service companies, and government representatives from throughout the Americas, the Regional Forum on Wednesday, 25 May 2016, will consist of a full day of presentations and panel discussions, where our very own CEO, Robert Limb, will be will presenting. The forum will focus on IOGP’s fundamental values including safety, the environment and standards. Special emphasis will be on how standardisation can help companies operate more efficiently in the current price environment. The previous evening, Amexhi will host a networking dinner for all participants.
