James Pringle

Team Leader

James joined OSRL as a Response Specialist with previous experience in mechanical engineering maintenance in the Downstream sector. James spent several years in the response department, James has attended oil spills within the UKCS, Middle East, and West Africa, and has conducted training, exercises, and other OSR work across the globe. In 2015 James went on a yearlong secondment to a client in the Middle East.

Following his secondment James was responsible for the operational and technical side of the UKCS surveillance project and service, in addition to leading the training of aerial surveillance personnel in the EMEA region and writing new and updating exiting procedures for OSRL’s aerial surveillance services and operations personnel. James has now joined the technical department as the Development and Assurance Advisor for surveillance, modelling, and Visualisation.
