Tom Gillespie
Team Leader
Tom is part of the Response department based in Southampton, helping to deliver the UK’s contribution to OSRL’s global Tier 3 response capability.
He joined OSRL in 2012 as a Mechanical Apprentice where he worked in the Equipment Hire Services department while completing his apprenticeship, and he is now working in the role of a Response Specialist. The past 8 years have provided Tom with many opportunities to gain a broad range of experiences from hands-on spill response to delivering preparedness projects around the world.
Tom holds an HNC in Mechanical Engineering and to back this up he has over 8 years of experience working in the oil spill sector.
