Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) are pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted as a finalist at the upcoming Subsea UK Awards which will take place on 3rd February in Aberdeen, UK.
We have been included in the 'Innovation for Safety' category for our involvement with the Subsea Well Response Project (SWRP) which designed and developed advanced capping, dispersant and containment equipment. Due to our extensive experience in providing oil spill response services around the world, we were identified as the right company to make this equipment available to industry.
The result was the creation of our dedicated Subsea Well Intervention Services division (SWIS), which included the opening of several base locations providing our Members with the opportunity to access a full subsea intervention capability as well as the Tier 3 response our Participant /Associate membership provides.
