Oil Spill Response Limited joins the UK Chamber of Shipping
OSRL is delighted to announce that it has joined the Chamber of Shipping as an Associate member to join the Chamber.
Commenting on the membership, Oil Spill Response’s Salvage & Shipping Engagement Manager Steve Storey said:
"Our decision to join the UK Chamber of Shipping is a demonstration of our commitment to the shipping industry – to increase engagement and ensure our services reflect the needs of our shipping and marine service members. In recent months we have witnessed increased interest from businesses in this sector, driven by shifting appetites toward spill-related risk. As a result, we are now working with a growing number of shipping and marine service operators to develop bespoke preparedness plans, provide training and offer an immediate response capability should an incident ever occur. Our new Shipping Associate Membership provides a global, high quality and affordable response service which will be of real interest to the industry's most proactive players."
The Chamber is the voice of the UK shipping industry which contributes nearly £20bn a year to the UK economy and supports over 180,000 jobs across the country. Oil Spill Response Limited joins 190 other companies as members of the Chamber.
