OSRL has many years’ experience in working in differing and challenging locations around the world and has a vast library of knowledge. When it comes to dealing with most scenarios, we will work with you to develop a bespoke equipment package based on your specific operations, environment, spill risk and regulatory requirements.
Some examples of additions to the standard equipment packages can include:
Inland Spill Response Packages
OSRL's specific inventory for effective land-based response includes such equipment as vacuum equipment, damming equipment, sand bags, pumps, skimmers and temporary storage.
Vacuum Recovery System
Larger Harbour Packages
In our larger Harbour Packages, it comes complete with 300m of foam filled fence boom on two tandem manual reels with extra temporary storage all sorted in a bespoke 20’ ISO container. The layout of the container is well suited to a fast and efficient deployment.
Dispersant Boat Spray-arm Systems
This is a longer-term dispersant application solution for a vessel. These are quickly deployed once fastened to the vessel and can be stowed in a deployable position when not required. OSRL has them in 6m and 8m variations.
Dispersant Effectiveness Testing Kits
These kits allow you to take samples and check if the dispersant works with the specific oil by doing a simple shake test. Contained in a hand-held robust carry case, these can be taken almost anywhere and are easily stored.
Command Packages
OSRL offers these easily deployable and unique command packages which feature; incident command shelters, command infrastructure and communications equipment installed in either containers or trailers depending on individual requirements. An essential tool for remote operating, allowing personnel to communicate back to home bases as well as utilising for rest breaks and sheltering from the weather.
Utility Vehicle Packages
These handy and very versatile vehicles aide the movement of response equipment and personnel to problematic locations where a conventional vehicle may not be able to access.
Tracking Buoys
Tracking buoys are becoming a more and more desirable too to have for an oil spill. They are deployed at the spill site and provide remote analysis of the oil trajectory.
Response Support Vessel Packages
We offer various types of shoreline vessels, from semi rigid/inflatable to solid hulls. All stored in a 20’ ISO container for ease of transport. These can be used for boom and equipment deployments as well as personnel transport. Vessel response training included with the package.
