OSRL continues to build on industry collaboration working with our members at monthly STAF meetings.
STAF is an informal forum managed by OSRL and consists of technical experts from each SWIS subscriber company. The purpose of the forum is to discuss technical (including deployment and logistical) aspects of the SWIS equipment, changes in procedures and/or modifications to the equipment.
We recognise that industry technology will continue to develop, and modifications based on ongoing R&D in various countries, and on lessons learned from exercises (and possibly well control incidents) may be expected over time.
STAF ensures ongoing partnerships and relationships within the oil and gas industry, working together and learning from each other, to ensure a safer, more prepared future.
OSRL have also established a STAF group for the OSPRAG service.
