In the event that the Containment Toolkit is required, OSRL will ensure that the system is transported to the nominated delivery point as requested by the Incident Owner. An agreement and procedures have been put in place between OSRL and the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and/or Storage Location Management to ensure a fluid mobilisation of systems requiring OEM support.
Upon notification from OSRL, the OEMs or Storage Locations will mobilise their own identified logistics providers who will transport the cargo to the seaport or airport of embarkation as instructed to OSRL by the Incident Owner.
There are two configurations for mobilisation:
- Assembled for transport by vessel
- Configured for transport by road/air
