Roles and Responsibilities

On this page: Within the terms of the Supplementary Agreements both OSRL and subscribers to SWIS have roles and responsibilities that they must adhere to. These are shown below.

OSRL Subscribers
  • Provide access to SWIS equipment
  • OSRL will own, store and maintain the equipment
  • Have the ability to mobilise the equipment to departure port/airport
  • Have base personnel/third party available to mobilise the equipment from storage location to departure port/airport
  • Provide export documentation for all equipment
  • Establish an internal response structure for mobilisation of resources
  • Provide generic operating guidelines/procedures/information
  • Configure equipment as instructed by the subscriber
  • Subscriber to satisfy themself that equipment is appropriate for intended use
  • Take full responsibility for the mobilisation of the equipment from the handover point and subsequent deployment
  • Subscriber to be responsible for repair/replacement arising from deployment
  • Call out process will require the subscriber to sign a Call Out Indemnity for each service
  • Need access to personnel to advise and assist with equipment operation and installation
  • Need access to suitable deployment and support vessels, and ROVs
  • Need access to suitable road, air, sea transportation and logistics
  • Subscriber to establish their own incident command system, and have their own Emergency Response Plan.
