OSRL is a Nautical Institute accredited training provider to the Oil, Gas and Shipping Industries and we provide a full range of courses to international and globally recognised training standards such as:
- International Maritime Organization (IMO),
- UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) and,
- Offshore Petroleum Regulator for Environment & Decommissioning (OPRED) (part of Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ))
We have also developed our certification standard, OSRL Certificate of Completion.
The Nautical Institute is appointed by the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency to accredit Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response and Co-operation (OPRC) Oil Spill Response training courses at all UK levels of training and their equivalent IMO levels 1, 2 & 3. The Nautical Institute is recognised in this role by the International Maritime Organization.
