Over the last two months, a total of 280 African penguins have been cared for at the OSRL GDS warehouse. The SANCCOB team are now wrapped up their response, so the base is back to its regular operational duties.

Whilst the world did not stop in 2020 and 2021, it slowed down dramatically with the effects felt across both cargo and personnel travel logistics. The combination of Brexit, Covid-19 supply chain impact, repercussions of the Suez Canal blockage, global HGV driver shortage, and the travel restrictions and ever-changing Covid-19 testing and quarantine requirements meant that we as a Global Logistics Team, are facing an unprecedented combination of events that directly affected our ability to perform our jobs. 

Regional Response Team spoke with Paul Foley, Regional Response Manager (Europe & Africa) about OSRL's partnership with ExxonMobil. 

Ho Yei Ling, Senior Logistic Lead with OSRL, shares how the diversity of her OSRL roles in the last 12 years has enriched her knowledge and skills and allowed her to delve into her passion for Logistics.
