Our highlights and achievements for the year 2019

OSRL’s online IMS 100 and IMS 200 courses as well as the facilitated classroom based IMS 300 course have all now been Accredited by the Nautical Institute. 

OSRL is pleased to announce the launch of a unique new tool to support the industry in the event of a spill. The Global Dispersant Inventory map offers a summary of location, volume and type of dispersant stockpile to enable faster, smarter decision-making when time is of the essence. 

We are saddened, but thankful to know that the seven crew members involved in the emergency landing incident involving the Lockheed C-130A at the Santa Barbara Airport escaped without injury. 

The said aircraft, still bearing the Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) livery, was not on hire to our company at the time of the incident. The OSRL contracted aircraft, registration N121TG, is in Malaysia and remains response ready to support our members.
