Oil industry delivers containment toolkit to enhance subsea well incident response

Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) has launched a new improved Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) 1 On-Scene Commander (OIM Offshore Installation Manager) e-learning course.

Legacy funding from Clean Caribbean & Americas (CCA) enabled OSRL to host a Technical Forum entitled “Understanding Dispersants in Oil Spill Response” in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on November 12 to 14.

A new e-learning training course, the Oil Spill Awareness Course for Offshore Vessel Crews is now available. 

OSRL is mindful that an outbreak of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) is underway in several countries in West Africa (currently Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone as defined by the World Health Organisation, WHO).

Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) provides our members with resources to respond to oil spills efficiently and effectively on a global basis. When activated, we form part of our client’s entire response efforts to reduce the impact of an oil spill. This quarter, we responded to the incident below.
